»	an effective learning takes place in a comfortable environment. This is why the classes may feel more relaxed than you are used to.
»	everyone is different, and this is why we will take time to get to know you personally, so that we can better help you to learn.

Terms and Conditions of Adult Courses Service Provisions

All candidates wishing to enrol for adult courses must be over 18.

15-17 year old candidates can be enrolled by their parents/trusters, provided the school has approved the enrolment.
Syllabus school reserves the right not to organise a course for a particular group in case there are not enough candidates enrolled. In this case Syllabus school will refund 100% of enrolment fee.
Candidates can use the service within the stated time period. In case the candidate does not use the service without previously informing the school, Syllabus school will not refund the fee.
In case a candidate cancels the course for a justified reason, Syllabus school will refund 90% of the enrolment fee provided the school was informed of the cancellation at least three days before the beginning of the course.
Candidates can enroll only in the course recommended by a teacher
Only candidates enrolled in the particular group and the school teaching staff can be present at the lessons.
Syllabus school reserves the right to expel a candidate for misbehaving, obstructing teaching process or being rude towards the teacher or other course participants
Syllabus school reserves the right to evaluate the candidate’s progress and level of knowledge
The learner’s progress evaluation is based on three criteria:
Course attendance (minimum 60% per cent)
Test result (the teachers decide on the minimal passing grade score?)
The teacher’s evaluation of the learner’s ability use the language actively
The Complaint Procedure:
if you do not like something in the lessons or do not understand the reasons for why the teaching is done in a certain way, please speak first to the teacher
If you are not satisfied with the teacher’s answer to your remarks, please speak to Director of Studies. You can arrange a meeting with the Director of Studies or submit your complaint in writing.
You can also talk to the School Director about all aspects of our service.
We will:
Respond to your request or complaint as soon as possible.
Do our best to respond to all your requests positively.
Ask you to put your complaint in writing in some situations.
Take necessary measures to ensure quality and to correct the teaching process wherever it will be necessary.

If having gone through all the steps of the above stated procedure you are not satisfied with the way Syllabus school has dealt with your complaint you can write to the Executive Director of “Quality English” association.

In its work Syllabus school applies certain standards which may be not acceptable to some learners, so we ask you to familiarise yourself with our method and decide whether our way of teaching suits you. We will not be able to meet some of your requests because in Syllabus school :

You can enrol only at the level recommended by the teacher.
The teaching process is in the language you are learning.
You can have local or foreign teachers and this does not depend on your level
You can have one or more teachers during the course.
Our classrooms are equipped with chairs with writing surface. These chairs ensure that students can move and form working groups during the lessons.
At the end of the course the teacher/s will recommend you the course which would ensure your further progress in the best way. Be confident that the recommendation is given in your best interests and, please, respect it.
The class timetable is valid only for the duration of the module you have enrolled for. For the next module the timetable may change.
