| » | language learning requires a lot of practice. This is why we ask you to speak a lot in class. |
| » | language learning involves the whole person, not just analysis of rules. This is why we ask you to talk about all aspects of the world. |
| » | language ability is made up of a variety of skills, and this we why we do not focus on single language skills |
| » | an effective learning takes place in a comfortable environment. This is why the classes may feel more relaxed than you are used to. |
| » | everyone is different, and this is why we will take time to get to know you personally, so that we can better help you to learn. |
The Syllabus Foreign Language School offers classes for Younger Learners from age 7 to 15, from Beginner to Advanced level. The classes are either on weekdays or Saturdays depending on the level, and can suit both shifts in primary school. They have 3 or 4 hours per week, depending on the age and level of the learners. The learner levels are broken up into two modules.
At Syllabus School, our main focus is on communication. We provide an excellent opportunity for young learners to improve their speaking and develop other aspects of their English such as listening, reading, writing and grammar.

Our teachers place a great importance on communicative methodology and prepare highly motivating lessons with lots of fun and interactive activities, such as games, drama and role play. We use a wide variety of materials, including songs, videos and specially prepared authentic materials from the internet.
We also organize and run various fluency, drama, and video courses. The aim of these courses is to provide a bridge between different levels. Often students take on a lot of knowledge about the language without being able to use it effectively. They give students the opportunity to develop all four skills, and at the same time practice the language without always being aware of it. They should also give them confidence in both production and reception. The school also provides a library from which learners of different levels can borrow readers and/or cassettes to develop further their reading and listening skills.
